Marketing games for your exhibition stand

Marketing games and interactive experiences attract attention and make it easier to strike up a conversation at the exhibition stand.

Start a conversation in a playful way – with a digital activation, that attracts visitors, engages them and brings your brand to life.

Screenable develops bespoke marketing games for your exhibition stand, tailored to your brand and goals. Played via buzzer, touchscreen or smartphone.

Your crowd-puller at the exhibition stand

We develop games and interactive experiences for exhibition stands – tailored to your brand, your target audience and your exhibition objectives.

From a playful product or company presentation to lead generation or a giveaway campaign: all content is tailored precisely to your requirements.

Whether it’s a buzzer, a touchscreen or a smartphone: we’ll choose the right form of interaction to suit your stand concept and trade fair objectives.

From the trade fair objective to the right format

We don’t start with a set catalogue of games, but with your trade fair objective. From there, we develop a format that suits your brand. It doesn’t have to be the most elaborate: a prize draw is often enough to generate plenty of leads, whilst a quiz is ideal for sharing knowledge. If you want your message to stick, it’s worth creating a game that brings it to life.

On the How it works page, we present three different ways to play: Mobile Control, Mobile Experience and Analogue Meets Digital.

Get more out of your exhibition stand

Your exhibition stand stands out

An interactive activity sparks interest, gets people moving at the stand and gives visitors a specific reason to come and have a look.

More time for conversations

An interactive experience gives visitors a reason to stop at your stand and engage with your brand. This creates more opportunities for conversations with your team.

Generating contacts and leads

A light-hearted introduction lowers the barrier to making that first contact. This can lead to conversations, interactions and – if desired – leads collected in accordance with the GDPR for you to follow up on.

Frequently Asked Questions

This depends on the scope, the technology involved and the level of customisation, which is why we quote for each project individually. The initial consultation is free of charge, and the subsequent quote is non-binding.

Ideally, four things: your objective for the trade fair, your target audience, the size of your stand including any existing equipment, and the next step you want to take after the event. We’ll discuss any outstanding points during our initial meeting.

It depends on the type of game. If the game is played on a large screen, such as a TV or an LED wall, it is controlled via a smartphone, buzzer or joystick. A touchscreen is also an option. If the game is played solely on a smartphone, you won’t need a screen at the stand. Just let us know what you already have. You can find out which technology suits which stand in this article.

Once the game is over, the next step can follow: a redirect to your website, a voucher code or a request for contact details. It’s up to you whether you collect contact details. You can find out more in the article ‘First-party data at the exhibition stand’.

Yes. Stadtwerke Kiel AG uses its game at job fairs as a way to strike up a conversation. You can read more about this in the article ‘Gamification Recruiting: Ideas for Job Fairs & Employer Branding’.

Games at the exhibition stand directly encourage visitors to get involved through a quiz, competition or prize draw. Depending on the concept, interaction takes place via a touchscreen, a large screen, buzzers or the visitor’s own smartphone as a controller. Contact details can optionally be integrated into the process and recorded for follow-up purposes.

An interactive activity provides a clear incentive to get involved and makes it easier to make initial contact with the stand staff. At the same time – depending on the concept – participation figures, game results, CTA clicks or leads can be recorded and analysed.

Lead capture can be integrated into the process either before or after the quiz, for example as part of a prize draw or to send out further information. The data collected and the way in which consent is obtained depend on the specific purpose. The quiz questions themselves can also be used to gain a better understanding of participants’ interests or topic preferences.

Depending on the activation, you can track game starts, participation, results, CTA clicks, leads or voucher redemptions. This shows how intensively the activation was used and what specific results it generated. The article on ‘Player Count instead of Footfall’ explains which metrics matter at the stand.

An interactive exhibition wall is a large-scale display that can be controlled via touchscreen or smartphone. This allows gamification content to be viewed by several people at the same time. An interactive exhibition wall is particularly suitable for busy exhibition stands where the content needs to be visible from a distance and reach several people simultaneously. A separate article explains how to measure the success of an interactive exhibition wall.
